Fashion Week Poland and Bohoboco

Fashion Week is as exhilarating as it is exhausting, and what many don’t know is that every second count! For the company Bohoboco, which was started in 2009 by Kamil Owczarek and Michal Gilbert Lach. Their passion for creating simple, constructive and yet at the same time feminine designs have long excelled beyond that of less knowledgeable Polish designers. With their dry approach to fashion, the clothes become more interesting- the more he tones them down, the more the media press zooms in to see the exact colours.

Their raging success with Polish stars, their determination in making the brand come alive in Poland as well as elsewhere in the world, are some things to be admired. The price of originality is a hard one to pay- and I’m not sure these companies quite got it there… A shame, as waiting for another show, I really did admire that design and the way geometrics were shown by what the designer did.

It’s up to me to show you that squares on the jumper are ridiculously fashionable, and the truth is- they are! They look amazing when teamed down with something really classical- it makes the eyes pop and everything seem far more ‘pop-arty’.
