United Nude Shoes

Ever heard of United Nude? Well if you have not, they’re a brand to watch. Founded by Rem D Koolhaas (architect and partial creator of the Mobias shoe) and Galahad Clark (seventh generation shoemaker for Clark’s, one of the biggest popular shoe companies in the world), United Nude is a new concept of joining architecture and shoes.

With the classic designs becoming a little too classic, emerging brands like United Nude are perfect for next generation footwear. Their original outside-the-box ideas bring a breath of fresh air to the standard pumps, sandals and even platforms! They are not afraid to play with shape or pattern- in fact, their main original idea, and the most popular shoes taken for FashionPhilosphy Fashion Week Poland in Lodz were the Fold designs, which are a genius concept which started with the way a patterned scarf could be folded over, without any additional wrapping or tying. Every shoe is different- there is not a single classic model, although many of the shoes seem to have taken their form. Could this be something completely new?

Here are a couple of my favourites.
