When it comes to recreational time, my idea is usually having a coffee. If I am not, the only reasons are usually because there is something stopping me- in this case, a group of swans. Since the incredibly haunting (and slightly nightmarish) Swan Lake, I have in a sense been obsessed with the feathered white dancers. Truth to say, the film was a tad too severe, so I was looking to brightening things up. And on a sweltering day like this, the only thing that could possibly help was taking pictures at the one place where the swans literally populate the river, in Kingston.
