London Day Trip: Aquarium

Now, while most people have their tourist days behind them (yes, those trips when you were like twelve and focused primarily on the available gift shops rather than the sights themselves), I do not. So this was going to also be my first time seeing the London Aquarium.

Since childhood, I have been a firm hater of all types of fish- these include all the wonderful creatures that look amazing, even if you do not necessarily have to eat them. But in the Aquarium, something felt different- the prospect of seeing thousands of swimming, rainbow coloured fishes was just far more exciting. The displays were very much different to some I had seen previously- oval and fish-eye like (no pun intended), they allowed to see the smallest of fishes in all their glory. So if you’re more into seeing grinning sharks and multi-colored reefs, here are just some of the photos I took then, before heading out find the nearest gift shop and cafe.
