When it comes to Christmas, there is nothing more important than the actual outfit you are going to wear on the occasion! And that includes shoes… Which can be both a pain and a pleasure to pick out- depending on how you do it. Every year, I go for a high heel, as I think there is nothing more lovely than to see than that little bit between the heel and the sole- the arch, and how graceful it looks. But Christmas, in all honesty, does not mean you have to dress up to the nines. So no ‘until you literally can’t breathe under your make-up and you feel that if you make another move in that dress you’re gong to tear it’ moments.
None of that. Instead, you have to look elegant, without all the painful details which make you feel uncomfortable. Of course, there are those Christmases when it feels like that is exactly the opposite of what you look like, but it truly isn’t that hard. So where is this magic secret? For me, it’s always been in the shoes. The devil stays in the details, I heard someone say. There is nothing truer…
